Cold Water,” the new single from global superstars Major Lazer featuring Justin Bieber and , enters the Billboard Hot 100 at #2 this week with 169,000 downloads and 19.6 million streams in the U.S. The song reached #1 on iTunes in 68 countries immediately following its release and topped the Spotify Global and U.S. Charts at #1. It’s currently climbing the U.S. Top 40 radio chart, reaching #17 this week, and has been certified Gold in Australia only days after release.

In celebration of Regina Spektor’s seventh album Remember Us To Life, out September 30 on Sire/Warner Bros. Records, Stereogum is premiering the track “Small Bill$here. They note “it’s a deep-grooving, bass driven banger with Spektor singing intricate cadences that border on rapping. She laces vivid, alluring tales over hard-hitting drums and quick violin flourishes before easing up on the hook with infectious, melodic la-la’s. Bob Weir’s “Only A River,” taken from his forthcoming solo album Blue Mountain, premieres on NPR’s All Songs Considered. Blue Mountain, out on September 30, marks Weir’s debut project since signing with Sony Music Entertainment’s Columbia/Legacy and ROAR. MusicGIBNEY DANCE 25TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION CONTINUES WITH FALL 2016 SEASON
As part of its celebratory 25th Anniversary year, Gibney Dance announces today its Fall 2016 Season featuring signature series Making Space, DoublePlus and Sorry I Missed Your Show, a Gibney Dance Company residency in Rwanda as part of the organization’s Global Community Action program, a full season of Gallery Exhibitions, plus the premiere of a brand new work by Gibney Dance CEO & Artistic Director Gina Gibney, Folding In. Set for eight performances November 2–12, the piece marks the choreographer’s first evening-length work since 2013, and the first to be performed by the newly re-envisioned Gibney Dance Company: Associate Artistic Director Amy Miller and Artistic Associates Natsuki Arai, Nigel Campbell, Kassandra Cruz, Devin Oshiro and Brandon Welch.
