October 4, 2024—Today, artist and producer Jagwar Twin unveils a first taste of new music with “The Watchers”—listen/share HERE.

The song is an interpolation of Rockwell’s classic hit “Somebody’s Watching Me,” with production by Jagwar Twin, Ryan Daly (Fitz and The Tantrums, James Arthur) and Ryan Spraker. Jagwar Twin details, “In 2024 we’re under constant surveillance. The average person used to work 9-to-5, but it’s 24/7 now—there’s no clocking out. With our phones and social media, we’re ‘on the clock’ from the moment we wake up to the time we go to bed.”

He continues of the inspiration behind the new single, “It's about this creeping feeling of being seen from all angles, not knowing whether you’re living your life or performing it… ‘The Watchers’ taps into that blend of fascination, intoxication, and paranoia…”

The single follows his viral hit song “Bad Feeling (Oompla Loompa),” which famously samples the original song from Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory. The single landed at #24 on Billboard’s Hot Alternative, spent 11 weeks at Top 40 US Pop Radio, and was included in the Shazam Top 200. It was also featured at #29 on TikTok’s Viral Chart and #16 on Instagram Reels Viral Chart. Jagwar Twin had previously seen viral success with breakout hit “Happy Face,” later featured on his sophomore album 33 (2022), and at nearly half a billion streams.

This summer found Jagwar Twin out on a sold-out arena tour supporting Thirty Seconds to Mars on their tour across Europe and the U.K. He’s previously supported tours for Avril Lavigne, Transviolet, lovelytheband, and 5 Seconds of Summer.

Born in Los Angeles, Brandon Roy Wronski—professionally known as Jagwar Twin—experienced two different worlds growing up. This duality is reflected in his music, which blends intensity and clam, light and dark, positive and negative, masculine and feminine energy. He draws inspiration from themes of self-realization and transcendence, through a signature genre-fluid sound—alt-rock and hip-hop, Slavic circus music and haunting vocal textures. He's previously collaborated with Lana Del Rey, Travis Barker of Blink 182, Alesso and more.

Further new music from Jagwar Twin is imminent.
