MARK AMBOR MAKES LATE NIGHT T.V. November 13, 2024—Last night, breakthrough vocalist, producer and multi-instrumentalist Mark Ambor made his late night T.V. debut on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” with a performance of his global smash hit “Belong Together”—watch here. MARK AMBOR—ROCKWOOD
DEBUT ON “JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE!” WITH
“BELONG TOGETHER”
DEBUT ALBUM ROCKWOOD OUT NOW TO
CRITICAL ACCLAIM
“Belong Together,” which earned Ambor his first Billboard Hot 100 hit, is taken from his debut album, Rockwood, released to widespread critical acclaim in August via Hundred Days Records—listen here.
Produced and written by Ambor in the basement of his childhood home, Rockwood is named for a nearby state park where Ambor spent many fondly remembered hours with family and friends growing up. In addition to “Belong Together,” his full-length debut features singles “I Hope It All Works Out,” “Our Way” and “Good To Be,” which charted in more than 25 countries.
Critical acclaim for Rockwood…
TODAY—WATCH HERE
“While playing guitar in his bedroom, [Ambor] wrote the lyrics, ‘You and me belong together/Like cold iced tea and warmer weather,’ which would become the instantly catchy hook to the cozy, uplifting ‘Belong Together,’ his ultimate breakthrough and first Billboard Hot 100 hit.”—Billboard
“Viral Star Mark Ambor Makes Some Magic in His Parents' Basement on His Debut Album Rockwood.”—People
“Ambor is also currently enjoying the kind of hype that marked [Noah] Kahan before most of us had ever heard his music. His single “Belong Together” is in the Top 40 of the Billboard Global 200 with over 500 million streams and has peaked at nearly five million a day. That’s massive.”—PopMatters
Ambor is in the midst of an extensive run of headline shows that follow his sold-out international debut tour earlier this year. The dates see the rising star playing venues across North America, the U.K. and Europe, with second shows added in several cities due to overwhelming demand, including at New York’s Irving Plaza, London’s Koko and Amsterdam’s Melkweg. See full tour routing below and purchase tickets at https://www.markambor.com.
From sharing his first ever recordings with family and friends in 2016 to quickly garnering millions of monthly listeners and selling his first headlining tour in less than a day, Mark Ambor’s rise has been meteoric. Since his debut EP, Hello World, won him a growing global fanbase, the 26-year-old from New York has found himself topping charts and selling out shows worldwide. His debut album, Rockwood, was released in August to praise from Billboard, PEOPLE, PopMatters and more and features the breakout track, “Belong Together,” which earned him his first Billboard Hot 100 hit—watch Ambor perform the song live on “TODAY.” Ambor has spent the months since touring the record across the world, adding new dates in New York, London and Amsterdam due to the overwhelming demand for tickets.
